Overview

Authority structure of the site

1. Scripture remains final authority

The Didache, Fathers, and councils are read as historical witnesses, not as replacements for Scripture. The recurring rule is: Scripture judges the Didache; the Didache helps illuminate early Christian practice.

2. The Didache is the foundation stone

The first major track is a 32-lesson course on moral catechesis, baptism, prayer, fasting, Eucharist, teachers, leaders, discipline, and watchfulness.

3. The Fathers index expands outward

Justin Martyr, Clement of Rome, Ignatius, Polycarp, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Clement of Alexandria, Origen, Cyprian, Eusebius, and Athanasius are seeded as future full courses.

4. Built for interaction
